Welcome to a new year and to another round up of results and events.
January hasn’t been too bad in terms of weather so the majority of events have taken place as booked which can only be a good thing.
We’ll start with the Cleator Moor Resolution Run 5k which took place on Sunday 8th January and was hosted by West Coast Challenge Events. Nina Errington and Kirsty Mahoney travelled West to take part.
Stu Windsor, Rosie Billet, John McGibbon, Lindsay Graham, Michael Holliday, Matthew Holliday and our very own head of marketing (no name needed) all took part on a chilly (and muddy) Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday 8th January Paul Todd headed over to Preston to take part in the Central Lancs Half Marathon. Paul finished in 1:54.06 which was also a PB. Congratulations on the great time Paul.
On Sunday 15th January Sport In Action presented the Carlisle Resolution 5k and 10k. 37 of our DH Runners took part.

Numerous PB’s on the day plus the men’s team prize led to many smiles on the way home. Congratulations all.
Saturday 28th of January saw some of the group head to Knowsley Safari Park to take part in the North of England Cross Country championships.
Paul McKnespiey, Mike Holliday, Matt Charlton, Michael Storey, John McGibbon and Matthew Holliday were representing the black and red for the men on the day. Times as follows:

While the ladies side saw representation from Rosie Billet and Rachel Lee
Rosie finished the course in 46:52 and Rachel completed in 57:09.

Not much on the radar for upcoming races other than the Great North West Half Marathon on the 19th February. If you are taking part in a race in the near future then we hope your training is going well.
